Being a member of the Canadian Light Sport Aircraft Association will improve your freedom to fly! That is our primary objective, and we’ll accomplish this in a number of ways.
- A voice. With your membership you will be part of a strong voice in Ottawa. With your support, CLSAA directors are already working with Transport Canada to introduce real, meaningful changes. Changes that can be implemented easily, and quickly.
- The Future. We need to take a long-term view as well, so bringing Light Sport Aircraft (LSA) to Canada is a positive step for Canadian pilots. Integrating LSA with AULA will be a top priority for qualified aircraft and pilots.
- Resources. It’s no secret that there is a vacuum where AULA information is concerned. Over the coming months, the CLSAA website will bring comprehensive details about everything an active or potential AULA pilot or owner wants to know – including a searchable database of eligible aircraft!
- Community. It’s time we had some AULA-specific events for Canadian owners and pilots. And that includes online discussion, a presence at airshows and fly-ins, and events geared towards the kind of flying our skills and aircraft were designed for.
